Hand and Foot

My grandparents are notorious for playing the card game Hand and Foot every Sunday. My mom always goes, along with whoever chooses to partner with Grandpa that week...usually Deborah, or Bill and Morgan. Yesterday, I went.

It is not a complicated game, once you know how to score. I have always liked games that look cool all spread out. As long as there are no small children around, that is.

This is how I will always remember my grandparents. They look just like themselves, to me.

I'm glad I went.

Hand and Foot is very similar to regular Canasta - with slight differences. I LOVE Canasta but it scares the heck out of me when the pile in the center gets REALLY big and no one can pick it up.

We LOVE hand and foot. It is one of those games we find ourselves playing late into the night. Looks like a lot of fun.

I've played Hand and Foot with your grandparents and Deborah! It's really fun but I definitely can't remember how it's played :D
