Help!

A request to the moms out there who read this: My best friend is coming from Missouri to visit with her almost 2-yr-old daughter. In avoiding the hassles of checking anything on the airplane, she is not bringing a car seat. So...

Does anyone have a spare car seat
that I can borrow for about 10 days (July 27-Aug 6)?

Her daughter is 25 lbs, so either a forward-facing seat or an infant seat with a higher weight limit would work.

Thank you!

I am doing the same thing those exact dates. Madison and I are flying to Oregon and the rest of our family is driving so we are sending her car seat with them, which means I need a car seat to get us to the airport. I have a friend that is lending me their extra seat... if it wasn't the same time I would see if you could borrow it from them. Sorry. :(

Don't you have to pay for the seat for your kid if they are older than 2 anyway? I thought that was a rule....

Good luck! If you guys can't find anyone...I usually take my stroller or even an umbrella stroller and use it to carry the car seat. I just flip it so the seat is facing down on the stroller and it works great. They don't charge to check a stroller and car seat so...

I would lend one if I had one to lend.

If you can't find anything, she can gate check the carseat so she doesn't actually have to take it on the plane. Just to the end of the fair way or whatever it's called. If I were still in Utah I would have one you can borrow. Sorry. :( Good luck. I'm sure someone will have one.
