Mother's Day...
Chris's Mother's Day gift to me was (drum roll please!) a tent and a gazebo for our upcoming trip to Yellowstone. We (meaning Chris and his dad...) sent them both up in our backyard just to make sure everything worked before we haul them a few hundred miles north just to find a missing piece.
Jane also thoroughly enjoyed the box the gazebo came in...
...although she couldn't quite keep her balance when getting on and off.
House guests...
Chris found a few bees making nests outside our garage door. The bees look different than bees we usually see. We recently saw a report on the news about a house infested with africanized honey bees, a.k.a. killer bees. I'm not saying that those are the bees chilling by our garage, but the timing of the report with finding the nests and the unusual look of the bees has at least made us wonder. Anyone know anything about killer bees?

Jane, did you fall down and get a boo-boo on your eye? It must get so old...I think you should make a card that you can give out that says, "It's a birthmark!" Sorry this has nothing to do with your post...
Hey! A tent is fun - what a great gift. When are you going to Yellowstone? We went last year in June and it was very fun, but a bit cold. :)
Are we still on for Friday?
That made me want to just set a tent up in the front yard just to set a tent up and play... a lot of work though.
Jane is so cute in the tent. I wish that I could come to Yellowstone. I'm still waiting on a job possibility, but maybe it will happen.
