7 + 7 = 30

If the oldest sister is turning 30, and you manage to get all SEVEN kids together and all SEVEN grandkids together, it is only fitting to celebrate with fireworks.

You can start with cake and ice cream first if it's not quite dark outside.

And then play with sparklers. Because--admit it--they are completely awesome.

Then start the fireworks. Well, after you call the neighbor across the street who happens to have a secret stash of fireworks and is always willing for an excuse to light them off. (Thanks, Wendi and Tony!)

Finally, amuse yourself by watching the classic expressions on the children's faces. Megan and Joel terrified, Nicole was nervous, Jane was content, Dalton was excited, Ben was confused, and Enoch was ambivalent.

Happy Birthday Lisa!

How fun! That's funny you have 7 kids and 7 grand kids in your family. :)
Can we plan a play date sometime soon?
