Yesterday was fully booked with plans for grocery shopping, packing, and getting the house ready so we could come back from vacation to a nice, clean house. Plans, somewhat unfortunately, changed. The water pump on the Mountaineer went out, so Chris spent nine hours (yes, NINE) fixing that with his friend Noah. I stayed in the house with a sick child who is cutting three teeth, which translates to runny nose, fever, and general orneryness. We had hoped to have everything packed and ready to go last night so we wouldn't have to do any packing on Sunday, but even with staying up until midnight, we didn't get even close to done. Luckily, church doesn't start until 1:30, so we did have time to get everything ready to go and still had plenty of time to get dressed for church.
Mom says that something always goes wrong on a trip. We have simply gotten that out of the way early, so no worries while we're gone! We are headed off to Yellowstone, finally. Our adventure begins tonight, with a slumber party in Aberdeen, then we are out bright and early with Chris's parents to drive to Yellowstone. We will be back (hopefully) on Saturday.
I've never been to Yellowstone, but I hear that this time of year is quite cold. I hope we packed enough warm clothes. If not, that's just too bad because there is no way anything else is going to fit in our car.

You are so funny Laura. Hopefully you will have a fun trip. Good luck with the campin (are you even camping) and being pregnant. I want to go camping so bad but I just keep thinking about how many times a night I would be up to go to the bathroom!
Have fun! It is cold this time of year.... at least when we went in June last year it was. :) It is great though - you'll love it. That's crazy about the 9 hours and poor Jane!!
Have fun! I hear Yellowstone is BEAUTIFUL!
Have fun!!!
I will miss you. I will think about you. I love you.
